Lucie Newcomb has been opening markets and opportunities for IT & Services companies, including market leaders like Cisco, IBM and Johnson & Johnson, and innovative former start-ups, such as Marvell Semiconductor and Quote.com. An advisor, trainer and executive, Lucie has double the industry rate for closing business and has been recognized as one of the 2015 Women of Influence by the Silicon Valley Business Journal: http://www.bizjournals.com/sanjose/news/2015/04/03/the-newcomm-global-group-inc-s-lucie-newcomb-women.html . Her company, The NewComm Global Group, Inc. was short-listed for a Think Global Forum Award in 2021.

Lucie has presented at more than a dozen industry conferences worldwide and is the author of a dozen executive training courses, including “When Being A Genius Isn't Enough: Leadership for Technical Managers” “How to Buy Effective Market Research” and “Defining Your Profit Zone“ featuring her BestPricing (SM) system, based on the work of Adrian Slywotzky.

Hers was one of only 35 approved consultancies for the government of South Africa's Productivity Improvement Programme. A mentor, instructional designer, speaker and trainer for the U.S. Department of State, Lucie has worked with six U.S. embassies as a mentor, curriculum designer, trainer, speaker and advisor, including via the prestigious U.S. Speaker Program: (http://women2.com/2014/08/05/inside-look-female-entrepreneurship-southeast-asia/?hvid=56qKnk ) . Lucie has held several other mentoring role including with the Star Venture Programme for the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development and Europe's 3Plus Women International.

Lucie has served on the Boards of professional and community groups, such as her current role on the Board of Directors of the pre-eminent organization for women's leadership, Take the Lead, which clelebrates its 10th anniversary on February 19, 2024. In addition to her current memberships in Silicon Valley Directors Exchange, Women in the Boardroom and the Private Directors Association, Lucie spearheaded the American Marketing Association Business Book Collection at the University of St. Petersburg, Russia project. She is the former Chair and co-Founder of the GraceNet Mentoring Partnership Program, a respected global association for women in technology. She has also held leadership roles in the Global Chamber, the International Leadership Association, as the Convener for the Leader as Reader virtual book club and the ILA's Learning Community on Philosophy, Religion and Worldviews; the former NorCal Business Marketing Association; and co-Founder, with the US Consul General, of the Cape-American Business Council in Cape Town, South Africa.

Lucie has advised startup accelerators in Zimbabwe, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan and Malaysia. She has also been a monthly business magazine columnist on global marketing and sales issues.

Lucie speaks regularly on actionable Global Business and Global Leadership topics. She designed and participated in a SXSW 2017 panel on "Disruptive Diplomacy”(https://soundcloud.com/officialsxsw/disruptivediplomacy-sxsw-2017) and was as a Mentor-delegate to The White House's 2017 Global Entrepreneurship Summit in India.

A graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, Lucie also holds a Master’s degree Leadership Studies from St. Mary’s College of California. She is an accredited coach in the Hall-Tonna (Values) Inventory, a methodology for breakthrough Leadership Development and certified as a Leadership Practices Inventory (LPI) Facilitator. A former resident of both the United Kingdom and South Africa, she is conversationally fluent in French. Lucie is a native Californian and lives in Silicon Valley.
