Mission Statement
The NewComm Global Group was established to help companies connect and leverage the dots between marketing and people on a global basis for greater profitability and sustainable growth.  We do this through markets development, from strategic planning through implementation and communications; training and organizational development, including leadership development and employee engagement; and a wide range of strategic consulting services.  Although we specialize in Services-based, for-profit businesses, our portfolio includes a wide range of sectors, such as Consumer Goods, Medical Devices and Information Technology, and non-profit agency support.

LUCIE M. NEWCOMB

Lucie M. Newcomb has been opening markets and opportunities for IT & Services companies, including market leaders like Cisco, IBM and Johnson & Johnson's LifeScan, and innovative former start-ups, such as Marvell Semiconductor and Quote.com.  She has double the industry "hit" rate for closing business and 100% project/program management track record:  always on time and budget.

A head of Marketing, Communications and Sales departments since 1983, Lucie has presented at more than a dozen industry conferences worldwide and is the author of a dozen executive training courses, including “How to Buy Effective Market Research” and “Defining Your Profit Zone“ featuring her BestPricing (SM) system and based on the work of Adrian Slywotzky. Hers was one of only 35 consultancies approved by the South African government for its productivity improvement program (me). She has also held a number of leadership roles, including co-Founder, with the US Consul General, of the Cape-American Business Council in Cape Town, South Africa. She has also been a monthly business magazine columnist on global marketing and sales issues.

In addition to serving on the Advisory Board of Aerio, an innovative open source software company, she has also been on the Boards of professional and community groups, such as American Marketing Association Chapters, since 1991. She spearheaded the AMA Business Book Collection at the University of St. Petersburg, Russia project. She is currently also President of the Global LightWorks Foundation, and former Chair of the GraceNet Mentoring Partnership Program, a respected global association for women in technology.  She is currently active in two major microfinance organizations, Women Advancing Microfinance and the SV Microfinance Network, and is the facilitator for NorCal BMA's International Roundtable.

A graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, Lucie is a Master’s degree candidate in Leadership Development at Saint Mary’s College.  She is also an accredited coach in the Hall-Tonna Values Inventory, a methodology for breakthrough Leadership Development.  A former resident of both the United Kingdom and South Africa, she is fluent in French.
